Brenton WhiteBrenton White took his first cruise at the age of 16. It was to the Mediterranean and included Greece, Turkey, Israel, and Cyprus. After that he was hooked. A veteran of more than 20 cruises, he recently (unfortunately) started taking panoramas of the ports and places he visited. Unfortunately, because he traveled the World for many years and did not think to take a camera. "It was always for work," says Brenton of this grave mistake. "I want to make up for lost time and help others avoid my mistake." This is an admirable goal for Brenton, so he now showcases his work with Cruise on the Web and invites others to join the "community." Cruise on the Web is the realization of a dream to document cruise ports around the World. His interests, though, do take him to other places. That is why "Other" panoramas are included on the site. Brenton's ultimate goal is to share his panorama photography and skills with others and help them to capture their memories in a "big" way. As he always likes to say, "You can't have big memories on small paper." And to look at some of his beautiful panorama prints up close, you know why. He's not done cruising and want you to join him on his adventures and learn, as he did, the skills and joys of panorama photography: it's just that we'll do it on cruises. What a way to go! |
